On 5th of June 2024, we had our Project Steering Committee meeting. The meeting was attended by Zeki Yıldırım, Deputy Secretary General of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yalçın Alver, Dr. Tolga Çilingir, Head of Transportation Department at Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, SUMP Izmir technical coordination team of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, Dr. Tijen İğci, Head of European Union Investments Department of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Dr. Göktuğ Kara, Transport Sector Manager of the EU Delegation, and representatives from Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Menno Menist, the Director of the Consortium Leader Company Panteia, and representatives of the Consortium partners & World Bank officials.
The current status of the activities was presented and the strategies towards finalization were also discussed. Our next meeting will be in 3 months!
