Longer distance with less effort!
Izmir’s e-bike sharing system ‘Tripy’ was introduced to the citizens of Izmir on January 22, 2024 with the participation of Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyer and Head of Transportation Department Kadir Efe Oruç.
Mayor Tunç Soyer stated, ‘We are leaving our mark on Izmir’s today and future with this system, which is a revolution in daily transportation in the city.
This new alternative is presented as a solution for urban transportation, with a sustainable and green approach to overcome the climate crisis and drought. The project aims to change the perception of transportation in Izmir by enabling citizens to meet their long-distance daily transportation needs more easily by bicycle with less effort.
